Canada-Ukraine Foundation

The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) brings together under one umbrella all the national, provincial, and local Ukrainian Canadian organizations. It has chapters in 20 cities across Canada, many of which are on CN territory with a high number of employees, retirees and their family.

The Canada-Ukraine Foundation (CUF) was established by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress in order to coordinate, develop, organize and deliver assistance projects generated by Canadians and directed to Ukraine. They are actively supporting the Ukrainian people since the beginning of the conflict in 2014.

At the end of January 2022, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) and the Canada Ukraine Foundation (CUF) have created the Ukraine Humanitarian Relief Committee to formalize a coordinated approach in providing humanitarian assistance quickly and efficiently to those in need in Ukraine to address any further aggression by Russia. They provide humanitarian assistance and relief in the affected areas to displaced persons, medical care, emergency shelter and food security.
