Community well-being
Since its founding in 1978, the South Shore Volunteer Center (CBRS)'s mission is to promote and develop quality volunteering from a perspective of community assistance.
The Center is one of the largest volunteer action centers in Quebec and well present in Montérégie: Brossard, Candiac, Carignan, Chambly, Delson, La Prairie, Sainte-Catherine, Saint-Constant, Saint-Lambert, Saint-Mathieu , Saint-Philippe and Longueuil (Greenfield Park, LeMoyne, Vieux-Longueuil).
It offers many voluntary services such as transportation support, tax assistance, meals on wheels, friendly visits, etc.
In addition, the CBRS offers its expertise to organizations that request it, with the aim of ensuring the quality of their action in the community. Their services to organizations mainly aim to support and advise community organizations in the management of volunteer resources (advice support, recruitment assistance, development and feasibility of a project, etc.).
