Let's make their dreams come true...
Mauricie
Myriam, 8 ans, had leukemia
A word from her mother:
"Here's what Mimi tells when she speaks. Just last week, she was telling this to a man sitting in the same waiting room:
" I had leukemia, I never got discouraged and my family was always there. I was brave and now I'll have my dream. I'll go on a Walt Disney Cruise. In the meantime, I have my dreamer* while I'm waiting for my big dream!"
Myriam
Thank you for participating in the realization of Myriam's dream!"
*Dreamer is the mascot of the Children's Wish Foundation. Every dream kid gets his own dreamy lion plush. He stays with them until their dream comes true and continually reminds them that better days are coming.
Montreal
Joshua, 11 years old, has a brain tumor
"Joshua has been dreaming of going to Hawaii for several years. Diagnosed since the age of 11 months, he spent a lot of time - and still does - in the hospital.
For him, this trip represents adventure and freedom. Among the things he wants to do are water activities around the island of Maui: sea kayaking, snorkeling, wakeboarding, swimming among turtles. He also wants to see the Haleakala volcano. He dreamed of spending time in a tropical place, in the sun, at the sea. Hawaii and Maui with its magical landscapes of Hana and Haleakala Park has become a must.
Joshua is in 6th grade. He is passionate about fencing and he's a great reader. He is the older brother of Mathis (8 years old) and Léa (4 years old)."

Shawn, 5 years old, had acute lymphoblastic leukemia
"Our little boy Shawn, now 5 and a half years old, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on March 19, 2015 when he was 2 and a half years old. A huge shock for our whole family. Shawn had heavy chemotherapy treatments every week and had several lumbar and bony punctures. He was given pill chemotherapy at home at night. He did everything like a real superhero. We are so proud of him.
His dream is to go to Walt Disney. He has been listening to "Mickey's House" for a long time on the Disney channel and he loves all Walt Disney's characters. He can't wait to see them. When we see the announcements of Walt Disney, he has a big smile and he tells me "one day we'll go, huh, mom?"
I present you our beautiful sunbeam during and after the illness. Thank you all for your generosity, you give the chance to a child who has struggled hard for his life to live a beautiful and big dream."
Sherbrooke
Mathis, 12 years old, has cerebral palsy
"Hello. My name is Mathis, I'm 12 years old and I love hockey. You can ask me questions about it, I'll know the answer. I dream of going to see the Golden Night in Las Vegas and meet the famous Quebec goalie Marc-André Fleury. I may not be able to play hockey because I have cerebral palsy. But I sometimes play as the goalie with my friends.
Imagine my two passions together: hockey and the big city filled with lights and activities. I live in Sherbrooke and it's beautiful, but Las Vegas is WOW! When I go to bed at night, I dream awake of how it will be in Las Vegas and I tell my mom about it."
Saguenay
Liam, 4 years old, has a brain tumor
"I am a little boy full of imagination. I indescribably love Superheroes and Pat Patrol. For these reasons, visiting Walt Disney would be a big dream for me. I would love to be able to prove to my dad that Spider Man exists for real. In the meantime, I take time to fight my illness, heal and spend time with my family."
Montreal's South Shore
Marius, 17 years old, suffers from kidney failure
"In 2002, Marius was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure. This teenager is a huge soccer fan. Hi favorite team is Read Madrid. His dream is to go to Italy to discover Venice, Rome and the Vatican, Naples and Milan. He would like to visit the basilicas, take a gondola ride on the Grand Canal to admire the city and see the historical monuments."

Charles, 18 years old, has muscular dystrophy
"Hello. My name is Charles, I'm 18 years old and I have muscular dystrophy. This summer, I will fulfill my childhood dream of visiting England and Scotland. I have always had an interest in British culture. From an early age, the Beatles were my favorite band. Today, my idol is the British Ed Sheeran. The famous Harry Potter series has always animated my imagination. I still remember days spent playing the Hogwarts student with my friends. When the opportunity arises, I love having tea with them. Of course, I can't wait to see London's iconic landmarks: The Elisabeth Tower, Tower Bridge and London Eye are just a few examples.Thank you with all my heart for your support to realize this dream which is very dear to me."
